Pacifica School Volunteers offers free training to give volunteers tools and strategies to help children in the classroom. The following training are scheduled for Fall, 2003:

Math Training:  This training is designed to help parents and volunteers learn ways to help children who are struggling with math.

Literacy Training: This training is designed to help parents and volunteers learn skills and strategies to help children learn to read.

Literature Circles Training: This training is to help those who will lead small groups of students discussing books and literature.
 
We also offer training on “How to Help Your Children Over the Summer Months and other educational workshops.   Call or email us to be added to our mailing list, and we’ll send you notices of upcoming training.
